そんな想いで東京を俯瞰すると
10万もの横断歩道が広がっていた。
その1つ1つを丁寧に抜き出すと見えてきた
大きな紋様。それぞれの街模様。

東京渡紋は、
横断歩道でつくる東京の新しい紋様です。

This mutual, ongoing love affair between Tokyo and the Edo Komon patterns
dates back a long time and was initally sparked by the beautiful renderings.

we want to come up with brand new patterns of Tokyo.

With that vision in mind we took a birds-eye-view of the city and discovered the spreading out of 100,000 crosswalks.

By carefully removing these one by one a larger pattern emerges.
A pattern unique to each individual towns.

Tokyo TOMON is a brand new pattern, inspired by Tokyo's crosswalks.
