This is the statue of the Lion of Love at the Shinbashi Station. It is a fund-raising tower donated to the Minato Council of Social Welfare by the Shinbashi Lion's Club in 1972. On the pedestal of the statue is inscribed, “A loving hand to the disabled”, and the funds raised are used for welfare work within Minato.
